The Carbon Pro Line heralds a new era of lightwind kiteboarding
Carbon Pro RIP 39
High Performance Freeride Board
Handcrafted in Germany
139 x 42,5 cm
The Carbon Pro RIP 39 is the Funboard of the Carbon Pro Line. With its light weight of outstanding 1950g, it offers a total new High End performance in all wind conditions.
The Carbon Pro RIP 39 is the perfect kiteboard for every rider, who seek maximum Freeride and Freestyle performance in medium and strong wind conditions.
– minimum weight
– maximum agility
– enormous carbon power
– precise board control
Superior at all points – the Carbon Pro Line boards beat everything that is possible with regular kiteboard construction materials. By the exclusive usage of a multi-layered carbon lattice, the Carbon Pro boards enter a new weight and performance dimension.
With ony 1950g, the Carbon Pro RIP 39 offers, compared to a High Tech Line RIP 39, for sure an increased riding pleasure. This performance was unthinkable some years ago. Already after a few meters, it becomes clear how much gain you get from the Carbon construction in terms of acceleration and maximum speed. Additionally the Advanced Jet Bootom give the kiteboard fantastic planing performance and you can control it in very strong wind conditions.
For Freestyle, the superior preferences of the Carbon Pro Line show their full power. With the multi-layer Carbon lattice of the RIP 39, it can be edged hard with minimal input power and gives your jump extra height and length. While being airborne the RIP 39 is light as a feather and feels fantastic on your feet. On landing, the Advanced Jet Bottom absorbs the impact very well and guidance is directly established.
The Carbon Pro RIP 39 is a high performance freerider and plays, with all other Carbon Pro Line boards, in a league of their own. Once taken for a ride and a switch back won’t be easy.
Overview on main characteristics
The Carbon Pro RIP 39 is, like all boards of the Carbon Pro Line, produced with a multi-layered carbon lattice. Non woven carbon fibres spread forces perfectly and build up less high, allowing minimal usage of epoxy resin. The resulting weight of only 1950g is extremely noticeable at all time. Carbon Pro boards are highly responsive, agile and an indescribable feeling while being airborne.
The energy load and recovery speed of the multi-layered carbon lattice can’t be achieved with regular kiteboard materials or often used layers of “design carbon”. The Carbon Pro RIP 39 has an enormous amount of power, mixed with very precise force control. Especially for take-off, the superior preferences of the high-end carbon show their full strength and release an astonishing pop.
Handcrafted in Germany
Every Carbon Pro Board is individually crafted. Highest precision and experience ensure the extreme performance and weight preferences of the Carbon Kiteboards.
Huge wind range
The Carbon Pro RIP 39 is build for maximum wind range. Already in lower wind conditions, the board offer great agility and planing performance. But its strength is definitly In medium to strong wind conditions, or heavy gusts. There, the RIP 39 offers a very high level of control and can be kept riding.
The RIP 39 is the Funboard of the Carbon Pro Line. The shape, mixed with the very low weight, give the kiteboard a very high agility and invites every time to try new Freestyle tricks. The further developed outline creates very good grip in turns and the kiteboard allows maximum ediging. The Jet-Bottom Shape on the bottom guarantees a smooth landing and together with the perfect balanced rocker line, guidance is established right after touchdown.
Massive planing and upwind performance
The extreme low weight and the Jet-Bottom Shape give the Carbon Pro RIP 39 great planing performance. The kiteboard accelerates very early and very fast and reaches a great top speed. Additionally the upwind performance is only beaten by the Doors with their concave outline.
High comfort and no spray
The combination of carbon flex, Advanced Jet Bottom and low weight create a very good comfort. Even in very choppy water, the Carbon Pro RIP 39 will run smoothly through waves and offers fine planing. Finding the take off on jumps is also very easy, as the kiteboard runs stable. And the optimized outline will definitely prevent any spray water.
The size, the shape and the construction with multi-layer Carbon lattice make the Carbon Pro RIP 39 the perfect jumping machine. Already in medium wind conditions, you can reach heights that are normally restricted to Pro Riders. In strong winds, the great control and outstanding comfort will always give you a good take off. With that, there are no limits in height and length.

What our customers say
Amazing, the board is so easy to ride. No comparison to my old board. I like doing big airs with board offs and therefore the weight is great. (translated from German)

I have retired my old 2011 RIP 37. I am surprised how much better the carbon board is in contrast to my old one. I would not have expected that. (translated from German)

X³ Carbon Construction
X³ Carbon Construction
Within the Carbon Pro Line, a specially for Spleene developed multi-layered carbon lattice is used. The carbon fibres are not woven with each other, optimising force flow and allowing minimal usage of epoxy resin.
All Carbon Kiteboards are handcrafted in Germany, to guarantee maximum precision during the production process.
Advanced Jet Bottom
This Shape-Detail describes a double concave channel on the base side of the board. It allows the board to plane more freely and earlier. The profile of the double concave is not a simple radius. The Spleene developed Advanced Jet Bottom has a parabolic shape. Compared to a normal double concave the Advanced Jet Bottom provides significantly more “edge bite” as it channels the waterflow along its edges. Especially in choppy conditions the difference is very noticeable. When landing the water surface will be broken up by the bottom of the board and allows a smooth landing.
The top side of the Carbon Pro RIP 39 as a slight V-shape. With this little indent, the wood-core gets thinner and the board becomes lighter. Additionallythe V-Deck on the Board allows to precisely adjust the flex and give the board a playfull character, as well as giving excellent grip in carved turns.
All Spleene Carbon Pro Line boards are produced with a form-glued, CNC-milled wood core.
The wood core has added PU rails, as well as reinforced fin- and insert positions.
