The RS Wake is the wakestyle kiteboard from SPLEENE. Made for Boots, made for action, no compromise!
– Wakestyle setup
– Increased stiffness
– Direct feedback
– Mega pop
– Made for boots
– Full control
The RS Line Kiteboards are build for everything that happens above the water line. Jumps and Freestyle tricks are in focus. The RS Wake is clearly stiffer than the regular RS Kiteboard. It features less flex and gives maximum power for freestyle and wakestyle kiteboarding.
The wide tips and the extra stiff Carbon X-Layer build the foundation for the enormous pop of the RS Line Kiteboards. The RS Wake is additionally reinforced and lowers torision forces. As result, it allows maximum edging, loading and a very precise and boosting pop.
For jumps with additional kite lift, the RS Wake delivers especially one thing: Big Air! Everyone who is able to master the timing, will be taken far up in the air.
For landing, the Advanced Jet Bottom comes into play. Hitting the water is softened and guidance is established right after touchdown.
For Freeride Kitesurfing through chop water and shore break, the Advanced Jet Bottom keeps up the stability and smoothens hard hits. Spleene Kiteboarding typical: Plane and upwind performance of the RS 38 and RS 35 is outstanding.
Made for boots. The reinforced inserts prefent damages on the connection, even if high forces apply.
The RS Wake is build for wakestyle and freestyle kiteboarding, radically and without compromises. The RS Wake lets you touch your borders and takes you beyond.
“A RS Kiteboard will not only take you far up in the air with its enormous pop. It will also quickly take you back upwind, so you are ready for your next jump.”
Overview on main characteristics
Wakestyle, Freestyle, Big Air
Maximum focus on jumps, tricks and power. Additional layers on the kiteboard as well as reinforced inserts make the RS Wake extremely durable.
Very good upwind and planing performance
The scoop line and the Advanced Jet Bottom accelerate the RS Wake very quickly and towards a high top speed. Best conditions to quickly power up after landing a jump. Going upwind is also dead easy and with the RS Wake. You are faster back upwind to go for your next move.
Torsion forces and flex are minimised. The RS Wake stays stable, also in extreme conditions. You can get allot of pressure on the edge, a very good loading as well as breaking down your kitehard with board pressure.
The optimized tips give much surface to edge hard. The stiff setup maximises load and recovery speed. All together these characteristics result in the enormous Pop of the RS Wake.
High agilität and control
The Advanced Jet Bottom as well as the optimized outline create the high agility and looseness of the RS Wake. Additionally the Advanced Jet Bottom gives always best control and guidance, without limiting the kiteboarder.
The rails of the RS Wake Kiteboard are shaped with a tucked under edge, a bend in the rounded rail at the center section. That eliminates any spray. In addition, the kiteboard rides smoother through chop.

What our customers say
So far, I was only 3 times on the water with the board, but I liked it alot. Also my boots fitted without problem. Will there be some Spleene boots available soon? (translated from German)

All RS Kiteboards have diagonally arranged carbon stripes, which radically eliminate torsion and generate clearly more Pop.
Advanced Jet Bottom
This Shape-Detail describes a double concave channel on the base side of the board. It allows the board to plane more freely and earlier. The profile of the double concave is not a simple radius. The SPLEENE developed Advanced Jet Bottom has a parabolic shape. Compared to a normal double concave the Advanced Jet Bottom provides significantly more “edge bite” as it channels the waterflow along its edges. Especially in choppy conditions the difference is very noticeable. When landing the water surface will be broken up by the bottom of the board and allows a smooth landing.
A slightly lift edgewise at the base side which generates a lot more comfort. Kiteboarders benefit from this shape especially in choppy conditions.
Stepless 3D deck
Stepless 3D-Shape on top side. All transitions are without any step. This results simultaneously in a clear reduction of weight.
Wood-Core and Carbon Inserts
All Spleene RS Line kiteboards are produced with a form-glued, CNC-milled woodcore. The inserts of the RS Wake are additionally reinforced with carbon and specially made for boots. The angle is sharper and allow optimal arrangement of boots.
