High Tech Line
Allwind freeride board
145 x 46 cm
– huge wind range
– early planing
– agile movement
– excellent control and track stability
– maximum comfort
– easy upwind riding
Its size and the minimum concave outline give the Session 45 best freeride characteristics. The board rides already upwind when the wind is low and in stronger and gusty conditions it can easily be controlled and ridden.
In freeride the flex and Advanced Jet Bottom of the Session 45 offer maximum comfort and the board runs smoothly through chop water. Additionally the bottom enables a very good track stability without reducing its agility.
For jumping, the Sessions 45 offers high performance, despite its larger surface. The wide tips can be edged deep into the water and deliver a great pop. Also for pure kite powered jumps, the Session 45 easily takes off the water and the Advanced Jet Bottom guarantees a very smooth landing, combined with full control and guidance.
The Session 45 is the freeride board for everyone who longs for agility and large wind range. Thanks to its size and shape, also beginner will progress very quick and heavier riders (>100kg) will find their allround freeride board in the Session 45.
“Shape quality of the highest level. Spleene combines with this board a destinctive comfort with a more then attractive price-value ratio. A very well working and harmonic mix of first class Freeride preferences and outstanding lightwind performance.”

Overview on main characteristics
Huge wind rangeThe Session 45 has a very large wind range. The focus is on the low and medium winds, to get early and consistent planing with full agility. But also in stronger wind conditions, the board offers very good control, especially in highly gusty conditions.
Very good upwind performanceDue to its outline, the Session 45 has a fantastic upwind performance. The board can be pointed windward easily and the sharp edges support stress less upwind riding. Its upwind performance is between the Doors and the RIP.
Best comfortAs with all High Tech Line boards, comfort is one of its major characteristics. Thanks to the flex and Advanced Jet Bottom, bumps of chop water will be absorbed and it planes smoothly through very rough conditions. Additionally course and speed can be kept constantly up.
Easy jumpingThe wider outline at the tips of the Session 45 gives lots of area to edge deep into the water and built up enough line tension for big jumps. The Advanced Jet Bottom makes landing very soft.
No SprayThe rails of Session 45 are shaped with a tucked under edge, a bend in the rounded rail at the centre section. That eliminates any spray. In addition, the boards rides smoother through chop.
Beginner and heavy rider friendlyDue to its larger surface, comfort and great upwind performance, it helps every kiteboarding beginner to make quick progress. For heavier riders (>100kg) the Sessions 45 delivers great performance as an allround freeride board.
New outlineTogether with our World Cup team rider Kelvin Corniel, we could further improve the the outline of the Session 45. Especially the changes at the centre section give the board more upwind performance.
Less weight at tipsThe tips are now shaped thinner. The reduction of weight at this section significantly lowers the inertia and makes the board feel more alive and loose.
Improved fin positionThe new Session 45 has modified fin positions. The board is now edging harder, even in very choppy conditions and remains its full power.
New graphicAs all boards from the High Tech Line, the Session 45 comes with a new design. The colour contrast makes it easy to find your board in waves or complex lighting conditions.

Advanced Jet BottomThis Shape-Detail describes a double concave channel on the base side of the board. It allows the board to plane more freely and earlier. The profile of the double concave is not a simple radius. The Spleene developed Advanced Jet Bottom has a parabolic shape. Compared to a normal double concave the Advanced Jet Bottom provides significantly more “edge bite” as it channels the waterflow along its edges. Especially in choppy conditions the difference is very noticeable. When landing the water surface will be broken up by the bottom of the board and allows a smooth landing.
Beveled RailA slightly lift edgewise at the base side which generates a lot more comfort. Riders benefit from this shape especially in choppy conditions.
Stepless 3D DeckStepless 3D-Shape on top side. All transitions are without any step. This results simultaneously in a clear reduction of weight.
